Presented at this year&#8217;s annual Cognita Leadership Summit, the award recognises schools that foster a strong culture of learning, continuous improvement, and collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>When presenting the award,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cognita.com\/about-us\/our-leadership\/\">Sarah Reynolds, Director of Education for\u00a0Cognita\u00a0Europe<\/a>, shared:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt ISZN, there has been a renewed focus on academic\u00a0rigour\u00a0which has been reflected in the commitment to improve and to ensure the students thrive now and in the future. The school has developed a new and clear pedagogical framework, learner profile, and a quality teaching and learning framework to raise standards across the school.<\/p>\n<p>By embedding a more rigorous approach to data analysis, and holding themselves accountable to it, the school has created consistency and clarity of the expectations for staff and students alike. This shift has already delivered tangible impact: the most recent\u00a0iGCSE\u00a0results show the highest value-added across\u00a0Cognita\u00a0in Europe which is something the\u00a0school\u00a0are\u00a0extremely proud of. Well done ISZN!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Executive\u00a0Principal,\u00a0James Stenning,\u00a0expressed his gratitude and pride in the ISZN team for their dedication and hard work:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis award is a testament to the commitment and collaboration of every member of our team. I want to pay particular thanks to\u00a0Chris Derrick\u00a0and the Secondary Leadership Team for their exceptional work in embedding academic\u00a0rigour\u00a0in Secondary and developing a more analytical approach to data. Their leadership has made a real difference.<\/p>\n<p>Having spent time with\u00a0Sarah Lowery\u00a0developing the Primary curriculum, I am also confident that our Primary team will continue to bring the same level of\u00a0rigour\u00a0and creativity into the next phase of our journey.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0\u201cWe Share a Growth Mindset\u201d\u00a0Award highlights what makes ISZN unique: a community that believes in learning, improvement, and the power of perseverance.
