Preparing our students

At York Prep, we believe that preparing students for the future means preparing them for a global world. As part of an international school group, we are proud to offer our students a learning environment that values cultural awareness, global connections, and shared responsibility across borders.

Through our curriculum and co-curricular programs, students are encouraged to think beyond themselves and to explore global issues, consider diverse perspectives, and engage with the world as informed, compassionate citizens. From world language courses and comparative religion electives to Model UN and service-learning initiatives, global citizenship is embedded into the fabric of the York Prep experience.

Our commitment to global engagement also extends beyond the classroom. In recent years, York Prep students have traveled to the Galápagos Islands, Peru, Argentina, and Oxford University, where they’ve explored ecological wonders, studied historical sites, and immersed themselves in new cultures. These life-changing experiences help students deepen their understanding of the world and their place in it.
